Wines of Macedonia (WoM) is an organization that unifies the work of Macedonian wine producers, committed to promoting the quality and image of Macedonian wine throughout the world.
The Association is established in April 2010 as a NGO to represent common interests of its members as well as:

• provide strategic support to the Macedonian wine sector including developing the wine and viticulture industry in Republic of Macedonia
• increase export of both bottled and bulk wines
• build an umbrella recognition of Macedonian wines
on the regional and international markets
• advocate in front of Government of Republic of Macedonia
and other relevant institutions.

The Macedonian sun shines over the carefully selected grapes that will later become the finest wines… Therefore, every time you taste Macedonian wine, you taste the beautiful Macedonian spirit, climate & optimism.
Despite long winemaking tradition, moderate international recognition as a wine country is one of the crucial challenges that the Macedonian wine industry faces in its efforts for promotion on the foreign markets and improvement of its export. One of the priorities of the Association Wines of Macedonia is creating the image and promoting Macedonia as a country that produces high quality wine and overcome the perception of being not well renowned or perused as cheap wine producing country. In the last half a decade, Wines of Macedonia association coordinated many joint promotions, master classes and specialized wine tastings and participation on leading Trade Fairs at the international markets, in order to strengthen recognition and include Macedonia on the global wine map.

To build and promote the image of Macedonia as a wine country and increase the awareness and recognition of Macedonian wines on international markets, worldwide, in order to enable greater export opportunities and enhance income generation for grape growers and wineries.

Wines of Macedonia provides full assistance and facilitation in strategic export program development and participation of its members to most relevant wine promotions and trade fairs around the world. Through WoM members are exposed to pertinent international wine critics, wine challenges, inbound trade missions, international knowledge and education.
WoM also provides representation and lobbying in front of domestic and international institutions and organizations.
